Church Mission

TO FULFIL GOD'S WILL, plan and destiny for the individual and for the fellowship corporately.

(Jeremiah 29:11-14, Acts 20:27-28, Romans 8:28-30, 12:1-2, Ephesians 1:11-12, 2:10)

TO BRING THE KINGDOM OF GOD TO WADEBRIDGE and fulfil our part in the Great Commission.

TO MAKE THE CHURCH A SAFE AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT in which to worship Jesus Christ, experience the Holy Spirit and bring glory to God.

TO FACILITATE THE MOVING ON of each individual to the next step of their Christian walk, "every person, every stage", (from unsaved to an effective, ministering member of the body of Christ)

Strategy and goals

How do we fulfil our mission and our vision?

Short-term strategy: Maturing the Church, Reaching the Lost

We aim to RESTORE people's lives, MATURE the Church and REACH the lost:

RESTORE:

1) Continue with, and develop pastoral care through fellowship, visits and ministry.

2) Develop our ministry team and intercessors

3) Bring teaching on a topics such as healing, deliverance, ethical issues and theology.

4) Pray for the sick and offer prayer ministry to those in need.

MATURE:

1) Continue with anointed teaching/preaching, inviting outside ministries into the Church, develop a programme of men's meetings, womens ministries and teaching seminars/workshops.

2) To continue developing our Spirit-led worship, encouraging those with relevent gifts, such as worship leading and the prophetic, to develop the previously mentioned ministry team.

3) Facilitate appropriate groups for fellowship, Bible study and prayer, including children's and youth ministries, such as the marriage course, a ladies fellowship group and youth cell.

4) Encourage and finacially support where appropriate, people to attend recommended courses/seminars etc according to their areas of gifting eg: prayer school. worship leaders conferences.

REACH THE LOST:

1) Youth cell and youth outreach events such as souls survivor.

2) Mission and evengelistic events.

3) Training in evangelism for members of WCC

Mid-term goals: Step by Step - Every person, every stage.

We aim to facilitate the moving on of every individual to the next stage of their Christian walk.

Our goals are:

1) To offer appropriate groups for each age and stage in the church.

2) To identify and develop departmental roles and responsibilities.

3) To spot and develop emerging ministries.

4) To expand the leadership team into a five-fold ministry according to Ephesians 4:11-12.
