“And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him.”

1 John 5:14-15

 “Pray continually..” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

We believe that prayer changes things. It changes us, and it changes the world around us. As a church, we are committed to creating a culture of prayer, and there are lots of ways you can get involved in being part of praying in the things of God’s kingdom.

The Gathering is our main time of prayer and worship, where we come together to draw near to God, to worship and pray for our church, our town, our world and for each other. The Gathering usually happens once a month on a Sunday evening, but this does change from time to time. Please see the diary for the date of the next meeting.

Knight Watchmen: A weekly before-work men’s prayer gathering. 6:30am every Monday in the Basement (not Bank Holiday Mondays).

Before service prayer: Join us at 9:45am every Sunday in The Snug for a short time of prayer and intercession for our Sunday morning service.

Mid-week daytime prayer: Everyone is welcome to join the Tuesday morning prayer group in the Sanctuary at 10:30am – 12 noon.

Prayer Requests: If you have registered on our church website and need prayer, you can submit a prayer request via the Prayer Requests page. If you attend WCC regularly but have not yet registered on the website, you can do so by clicking the ‘Register’ button in the top right hand corner of the home page.

Prayer Pairs / Triplets: For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20) If you would like help with finding a prayer pair/triplet, please drop us a line and we will try and connect you up!
