Little Fishes Creche and Kingdom Kids
We are a family-friendly Church, and place value on teaching our
children about God and Jesus in a fun and engaging way.
Every Sunday morning during the preaching of the message, there is
a creche for babies and toddlers, and Kingdom Kids for primary school aged children.
All children, including visitors are welcome to attend, a note is put on the screen
when it is time for the children to go to their groups.
We are members of the Churches Child Protection Advisory Service
(CCPAS) and operate a Safeguarding Policy. All our children's
workers are subject to a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
If your child has any special needs or dietary requirements, please
let our stewards know and they will introduce you to the children's
workers for that week.
We host free parties for children aged up to 8 years at Christmas and Easter each year,
plus a Light Party as an alternatove to Halloween. These include fun (and sometimes messy!) craft activities, games, tea and a story.
In October half term 2011 Churches Together in Wadebridge ran "Rocky's Plaice" Holiday Club, all the
children that came had a wonderful time. They met Mrs Tagliatelle, the head chef at Rocky’s Plaice and fell about laughing at the
slapstick antics of Salt and Vinegar the two exceedingly messy trainee chefs. Each day Spic and Span, the cleaners, led everyone in their
funky workout, Captain Ketchup
read the Red Hot News, and the Sardine band played for the Rocky’s Plaice and other songs. The children heard exciting stories from the
early life of the church from the book of Acts,
and created pop-up puppets, place mats, bookmarks and decorated fish biscuits. They
celebrated with a party on the last day, with games and birthday cake, and a New
Testament and party bag for everyone.
There will be another holiday club in October 2012.
